GSM Moov operator Ivory Coast suffered a high-level diversion. Three trainees allegedly used shenanigans to divert 100 million Cfa francs to the mobile phone company.
It is koaci who reports the information and indicates that the three individuals responsible for this vast hijacking were hired in the company as trainees and assigned to the call center service since February 2018. According to the investigations conducted by the responsible for the structure, the latter divert communication credits in favor of certain distributors responsible for reselling them. The fraudulent case caused Moov Ci, a loss of 100 million CFA francs, according to the media.
The same source indicates the mis en cause, have been arrested and languish in prison since July pending their trial at the end of an investigation that should allow to get their hands on all members of the diversion network. An investigation that could reveal surprises since such an operation could involve executives of the firm. Koaci emphasizes however that the operator did not wish to answer his questions on this subject.
